The Community Business Scotland Network friends of John Pearce have to sadly let you know that John died on Monday 12th December 2011 after a long and determined fight against cancer.
John’s inspiration, imagination and understanding of the need to get organised provided the impetus for the establishment of Community Business Scotland over 30 years ago. Tributes to him and his work over a forty year engagement with community development are being received from right across the world.
His funeral will be held at 11am on Tuesday 20th December at: West Lothian Crematorium Cousland Wood Starlaw Place, Off Starlaw Road, Livingston, EH54 7FD
