In 2000 we formed a subsidiary, now trading as “Just the Business”. All consultancy contracts go through this company which pays a management fee to the charitable parent company. All consultants contribute a portion of their fees to CBS Network.
The consultancy service is undertaken by a small core of CBS Network consultants, backed up by the wider resources of the Network members who can provide a rich range of experience and expertise. Just the Business enables our Members and Directors to work together in carrying out consultancy work in social, community and economic development particularly with organisations working in the social economy.
We have been effective in carrying out work for clients that include local authorities, national agencies, community enterprises and voluntary organisations. Our involvement in consultancy works goes back over 20 years and examples of typical services we offer include:
